Holden Pond is situated by Holden Road on the southern edge of Southborough Common and has been in existence for hundreds of years. It is once again teeming with wildlife and fish, since it was completely cleaned in 2006. The pond has always been popular with anglers, in particular because of the large carp thriving there. Feeding the ducks is a popular pastime of young children.
